What started as a little experiment turned into something I completely fell in love with.
I began painting these tiny bees on paint colour swatches, simply because I loved the idea of pairing each bee with a beautiful, unexpected background colour. I never planned a series — but one bee became another, and before I knew it, I had twelve.
Coastal Sand is one of those original little paintings, now reproduced as a fine art print. A small celebration of colour, nature and the very lovely places an idea can take you when you just run with it.
